Are you afraid of going to a campsite because you are worried about never coming back home? Do lakes scare you because you don’t know what’s lurking in the water? Do gourmet meals stress you out when you don’t know what they are made out of? Maybe you are afraid of going to the bank because you have your back to the door and anything can happen right? Like an armed robbery? If any of these scenarios stress you out, then you might have watched too many movie villains on the screen.
Most movie villains get away with breaking the law and never have consequences for their actions. But that’s not the reality for most of us. Stay out of trouble this Halloween because jail is no movie. In the meantime, take a look at what these iconic movie villains have gotten away with.
The Joker
The Joker is one of the most iconic movie villains of all time, making his name in the Batman franchise. Not only does he get away with armed robberies and over 30 counts of first-degree murder, but yet he never has to pay for his crimes. Instead, The Joker and Batman depend on each other to keep doing what they love to do…
Jason
Talk about some family issues. Jason is the main antagonist of Friday the 13th. He murders anyone that crosses his path in order to honor his mother, Pamela Voorhees. Jason supposedly drowned in Crystal Lake when he was 11 years old. Some believe that he did drown and came back to life to avenge his mother’s death, while others believe he survived the drowning. Regardless of how he still walks the earth, he murders over 25 people and continues to lurk near Camp Crystal Lake.
Michael Myers
Michael Myers is another iconic movie villain in the franchise Halloween. This emotionless, mute, serial killer murdered his older sister on Halloween night when he was only 6 years old. He was incarcerated in a mental institution, yet still managed to kill 92 people throughout the franchise.
Hannibal Lecter
Enough about your standard serial killers. Did you hear about Hannibal Lecter’s criminal history? He is the main antagonist of the Hannibal Lecter Franchise, and he doesn’t just kill his victims. In fact, he eats them too. He commits 9 brutal cannibalistic murders, however, unlike the other movie villains, he is eventually caught and locked up in prison.
