The Detention Bureau books approximately 600 inmates are transferred to various courts each week or 35,000 inmates a year. All inmates are centrally received at the Corrections Center where they are booked, photographed and enrolled by their iris.

Visitation Rules

Inmates are permitted one 30-minute visit per day, with a maximum of three visits per week, excluding attorney or professional visits. The visitation schedule is organized based on the inmate’s last name.

Inmates with last names A through L:

Saturdays and Mondays: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. (Visitors must sign up by 8:30 p.m.)

Fridays: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (Visitors must sign up by 2:30 p.m.)

Inmates with last names M through Z:

Sundays and Tuesdays: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. (Visitors must sign up by 8:30 p.m.)

Fridays: 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. (Visitors must sign up by 8:30 p.m.)
